Course Synopsis The trend towards distance learning and the integration of Information and Communications Technology (ICT) in teaching is on the rise. Numerous apps, web design tools, and e-learning platforms like Moodle, Edmodo, Weebly, etc., present both opportunities and challenges for educators. Navigating these platforms without proper guidance can be overwhelming and time-consuming.
This course is tailored for teachers, trainers, and education managers, focusing on creating engaging multimedia content, websites, blogs, and e-learning platforms to facilitate distance and blended learning. Participants will engage in a hands-on, learning-by-doing approach, developing their first e-learning course and website over the course of a week.
Learning Objectives This practical course enhances participants’ ICT and digital skills, allowing them to collaborate with other European educators and gain a wider perspective on education in Europe. The primary objective is to promote educational excellence by enabling educators to effectively use web platforms and technology in teaching.
Participants will learn the basics of employing web platforms and apps for distance learning, creating websites, and integrating e-learning into their educational strategies. The course emphasizes tools and platforms that support blended learning, combining traditional face-to-face education with virtual learning. By the end of the training, each participant will have created their own website and e-learning space.
